There will be no games 9/20 or 9/27 for field maintenance, whatever that means. We will resume 10/4 with Sailors and Soldiers week! Get your costumes ready, no excuses for not having one ready, you have TWO weeks!

SLAM!

Well, we started off the season with a confusing team name... Whored (pronounced hoard.) After plenty of complaining we decided to vote on a new name while we were drinking at the bar. I have NO idea how it happened but all of a sudden our fearless leader was on the ground demonstrating what a G-Spot Slammer is and we all decided that had to be our team name. (The booze MAY or may not have had something to do with our great decision.)

Needless to say, we've enjoyed every minute of our new team name and have even come up with our next 2 team names for future seasons. Pile Drivers and Jack Hammers. Because let's be real, these three things are all the exact same position. We also made an agreement that we will set the line-up based on completion of the act of our team name. Read that a few times if you need to but I tried to write it in the least offensive way. :)

Although we're sorry we beat you guys so bad, we really DO love to have fun and want to drink with all of you at the bar so please join us after our games, win or lose!! Who knows, you may have a chance to move one of us up in the line-up...if you're lucky. ;)

Shout outs go to Barrett and Justin for getting too distracted by boobs and making some questionable plays.

Happy Birthday to us all!

So last week it was the awkward, getting to know you, "hey you're new" and "oh yeah, you're that weirdo from the other team who wore the kilt and went to the donkey show but now you're on my team so you're okay." This week it was all about the birthday. Sarah turned 28 and we celebrated it with a cupcakes, tiaras and beer. I know you're jealous and you'd do this all the time, to heck with just kickball. Lisa is also turning 32 this Friday, so we'll celebrate that (and another win) next week.

Still undefeated and unscored upon, we're coming for The Most Interesting Kickball Team in the world next week. And it's going to be VERY interesting scoring all those runs!
